Chess Haven Inc. is a global 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Through our Common Core Aligned Chess Curriculum, we strive to integrate chess into the classroom. In addition, Chess Haven provides lessons, classes, events, tournaments, free equipment, and curricula to help the chess community. Our affiliates are located in all 50 U.S. states and over 20 countries internationally.
Our Mission
Our mission is to spread the educational benefits of chess across the globe. Through our Common Core Aligned Chess Curriculum and other resources, we not only teach chess but also critical thinking skills and problem-solving to students.
We have been serving the global community since 2012 and are excited to help more and more scholars pursue their passion for chess.
Our highly recognized chess tournaments such as the Connecticut State Grade Chess Championship provide a competitive experience for players of all skill levels.
